A Level 2 adds the full internal camera run, plus examination of any concealed section that can be reached without demolition, and it is the correct scope at every property transfer, after any chimney fire, and whenever the appliance or the fuel is changing.
What the report will not do
It will not guess. Where something is genuinely concealed and cannot be seen without opening up construction, the report says that rather than implying we checked. Where a defect is present but minor, it will say that too, because a report that lists every observation at the same volume is useless to the person trying to make a decision with it.
