Fireplace Installation & Remodel

From dated brick to stacked-stone showpiece — design, framing, venting and finish under one crew.

Install & Remodel

The Best Room in the House, Rebuilt

A fireplace should be the best room in the house — not the dated brick wall you apologize for. Whether it’s a full stacked-stone transformation, a clean modern paint-and-mantel refresh, or a brand-new fireplace where none existed, one 360 crew takes it from design to first burn.

We handle the whole build: framing and buildout, gas lines and venting, stone, tile or brick finishes, mantels and hearths, and code-correct clearances throughout. Utah homes run the range from 1900s Salt Lake Victorians to brand-new Daybreak builds, and we’ve remodeled fireplaces in all of them.

Because we sweep and inspect chimneys year-round, we design remodels that burn as beautifully as they look — sized right, vented right, and ready for a decade of inversion-season fires. Most remodels wrap in days, not weeks, and the price we quote is the price you pay. You’ll see material samples in your own light before we order a thing.

How We Work

Design. Build. Burn.

Design

We measure, photograph and listen, then put materials and a written, itemized quote in front of you. You approve every detail before we start.

Build

Framing, gas, venting, stone and finish work by one coordinated crew — protected floors, sealed work areas, daily tidy-ups.

Burn

We test draft and clearances, start the first fire with you, and walk through operation and care before we call it done.

Good Questions

Installation & Remodel FAQs

How much does a fireplace remodel cost in Utah?
A paint-and-mantel refresh can start in the low thousands, while a full stacked-stone or built-in remodel with new venting runs higher. Every project starts with a free inspection and a written, itemized quote, so you will know the exact number before we touch a tool.
Can you convert my wood-burning fireplace to gas?
In most cases, yes. A gas insert or log set fits inside your existing firebox with a new liner and gas line. We inspect the chimney first to confirm it is sound, then handle venting, gas connections and startup. You keep the look and lose the hauling and ash.
How long does a fireplace installation or remodel take?
A straightforward insert installation is often a single day. A cosmetic remodel typically runs two to four days, and full custom builds with stone or built-ins can take one to two weeks. We give you a firm schedule with the quote and stick to it.
